About The Event

Beyond Words Live, my radio show that I am celebrating 5 years of hosting this year, is designed for survivors to tell their story in their own words. Join me as I have some survivors come on and tell their story in their own words and speak about how they, too, are rising. There may be survivors reading their own poems, sing their own song and/or just explain what they are doing to rise for justice. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/oralhistory/2014/02/14/one-billion-rise-we-rise-beyond-words-live Seeking guest speakers and promoting the event on facebook - https://www.facebook.com/events/797099356973059. NOTE: Show is archived and can be accessed by the link and/or an mp3 file. :)

About The Organization

Beyond Words Live!

This radio show is designed as a platform, ordinarily, for survivors to tell their stories in their own words. On February 14th, we're going to open it up so that many survivors can come on line and share their voices through many different expressions - poems, songs, prose. Artwork will be put on the slide screen that is submitted.
