Warm Zone is a drop-in facility for street-engaged women in Abbotsford and Mission. Offers bathroom and laundry facilities, lockers, some clothing and personal care items, and access to internet and phone service. A kitchen with drinks and snacks is also available, and a hot meal is served at 4 pm on Mondays. Women who live and work on the streets report bad dates and develop personal safety plans. Support workers and counsellors provide advocacy support for medical and legal services. Hours are 9 am to 10 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 4 pm Saturdays. Partially funded by the Province of BC.
