On the 13th of February at 8pm PST, YOGA NoHo and Vital Danza USA will join with activists around the world for ONE BILLION RISING, the largest day of action in the history of V-Day, the global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. Everyone is invited to Rise with us in the life affirming dances of Vital Danza ( Vital Development). Vital Development ( VitalDanza ) is a unique and exciting celebration of human potential and heart-opening peace activism. This 1.5 hour experience will entail deeply connecting to yourself, to others and to life in the unique intense, joyful experiences, known as vivencias – the intensity of the present moment found in the fusion of music, movement, expression and a sense of community. This fun, simple process invites you to dance with life, interact in a unique way that will open you heart and set your life alive. Everyone can do it and everyone is welcome! suggested donation is $20 and all proceeds go to the Alexandria House - a non-profit transitional residence and house of hospitality providing safe and supportive housing for women and children in the process of moving from emergency shelter to permanent housing. However, no-one will be turned away for lack of funds
