About The Organizer

Angela Burdick

As a survivor of sexual abuse; I studied criminal justice and paralegal research in the hopes of assisting organizations that provide services to sexually abused women and children. In 2004, I founded Women against Sexual Predators (WASP) Chicago, a non-profit organization created to protect the rights and innocence of children, and also inform schools and communities about sexual predators in their area. My goals are to continue expanding business so that eventually I can dedicate more time to legal advocacy and services to those who are sexually abused.
In 2003,I created VIP Bachelorette; a company specifically centered on the concept of planning ‘Bachelorette Parties with Class.’ and ending the negative stigma of bachelorette parties. With the assistance of my staff we continue to grow and continue to support organizations that fight to stop violence against women and children, including rape, battery, incest, and sex slavery.
