About The Event
We are a nonprofit membership theatre company in Los Angeles. We'd like to do the Vagina Monolgues for VDay but we don't want to use professional actors. We'd like to invite community leaders who work towards making LA a better place - elected officials, nonprofit leaders, artists, and faith leaders, etc. We'd like to charge a nominal ticket price and give all of the proceeds to Journey Out, a nonprofit organization about 7 miles from the theatre. They work with victims of human sex trafficking. If some of the staff and clients of Journey Out would like to be part of the cast, we'd welcome that.

We are the longest running membership theatre company in Los Angeles (56 years.) Our membership consists of writers, actors, directors, and technical experts who all work together to create original works for the stage.
