The Western Kenya LBQ Womxn Feminist Forum is organizing a twittathon of Vagina Monologues on the 14th Feb 2018 as part of the ONE BILLION RISING REVOLUTION.
Theme : SOLIDARITY - RISE! RESIST! UNITE!
We UNITE in 2018 and are RISING for LBQ womxn by RESISTING all forms of exploitation and discrimination.
We are making LBQ women visible by speaking and occupying positions of POWER. On this day we speak and reclaim our bodily integrity. We speak about our vaginas. We make it visible so that its not ravaged in the dark.

About The Organization
NYARWEK LGBTIQ+ NETWORK
NYARWEK NETWORK is an LGBTIQ+ network founded in the year 2009 to advocate for the rights of the sexual and gender minorities in western Kenya envisioning a society where LGBTIQ+ persons have their dignity and human rights respected. The organization works with 19 member organizations across the region on four result areas namely; Advocacy, Health, Livelihoods and Institutional Strengthening and Organizational Development.
