About The Event
One Billion Rising Info:
In spite of two CAT 5 hurricanes in the US Virgin Islands, this is our 6th annual event In the midst of recovery this time. In spite of it all, we are determined to bring awareness to the crimes that Females face around the world and here in the VI. No More Exploitation!
On St. John, we will have The Dynami Dancers (Youth) present the 1 Billion Rising dance presentation beginning at 4 PM, at Frank Powell Park.
On St. Thomas it will be in the form an Exhibit at Emancipation Garden on Valentines Day (February 14) beginning at Noon, as a gift to our community. The exhibit will last 3.5 hours, and is op n to ALL.

Family Resource Center
Family Resource Center provides no cost services to victims of the domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse and other violent crimes. We position ourselves to Change the Mindset of perpetrators, and persons considering suicide. We are a private nonprofit, in operation for 37 years. 340-776-STOP (7867) is our 24 hr. hotline.
