About The Event
Umina and the Peninsula will be part of ONE BILLION RISING! In joining we will all discover our solidarity and the scope of this issue. We will come to see that violence against women girls is not a local issue or particular to any culture or religion or village or age. When we dance at Umina Rising!, we will join in solidarity, and energy and shake our Peninsula into a new consciousness.
