No stranger to the stage, Ms. Hawkins got her start in theater by working behind the scenes in lighting, sound and special effects. In her first production she was cast as the “Matriarch of the Family” in A Raisin in the Sun, her portrayal as “Eveilene” in The Wiz and Not surprising, she has also done standup comedy!
