About The Event
We will be holding our One Billion Rising on Saturday 11th February 2023 from 11:00 to 12:00 on Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. It's the 10th Anniversary of the #1BillionRising global campaign to stop violence against women and girls. We will be raising awareness and the focus of our Rising this year is the Freedom of Afghan and Iranian women. Please come along to support us and this event. About The Organization
Multicultural Women's Group Bury St Edmunds
We are a friendly group of women who have international connections. Some of us have come to live in the area from other parts of the world and others have lived and worked abroad.
We are a community group which aims to welcome, befriend and offer a social support network to people of all nationalities in and around Bury St Edmunds. We offer a forum to share information and expand our awareness of multiculturalism.
