In einer Zeit voller Unruhe und Gewalt kommen wir zusammen, um Solidarität zu zeigen mit Frauen, Mädchen und allen Menschen, die Gewalt erleben. 🌎🌍🌏

„Women on Fire – Ni una menos“
(„Frauen in Flammen – Keine Einzige weniger“ – ein kraftvoller Aufruf gegen Gewalt und Feminizide)
💓 Wir tanzen gemeinsam:
Neben dem bekannten OBR-Song „Break the Chain“ tanzen wir in diesem Jahr auch ein neues Lied.

- Jede*r kann teilnehmen – Vorkenntnisse sind nicht nötig.
- Was zählt, sind Haltung, Präsenz und Solidarität.

One Billion Rising Bochum 2026 – Dance Demonstration

Location: Bochum, forecourt of Schauspielhaus Bochum
On February 14, 2026, the city of Bochum will once again join the global action One Billion Rising with a public dance demonstration.
In a world marked by violence, crisis and uncertainty, we come together to create a space of collective resistance, connection and hope. One Billion Rising Bochum calls on people of all genders to stand in solidarity with women, girls and all people experiencing violence.
2026 Theme
“Women in Fire – Ni una menos”
(“Not one woman less”)
This year’s theme represents strength, resilience and the global fight against gender-based violence and femicide.
Dance is protest. Dance is solidarity. Dance is resistance!
About The Organizer
Ximena León
I am an engaged Bochum resident who has wholeheartedly supported the One Billion Rising movement from the very beginning. Since the first global dance, I have actively participated and brought this powerful event to Bochum. As a volunteer, I organize this event to send a strong message in our city for equality, empathy, and a life free from violence. My passion is to connect people, create a solidaric community, and together, fight for positive change.
