About The Event
Our Taft 7-12 Community is planning a flash mob to the Katy Perry song, "Roar" during half-time of the boy's varsity game. Come support our local athletes and join in a fun flash mob. The Taft Dance Team and Cheer Squad have graciously offered to help teach the dance to anyone who comes to their Dance Clinic this Friday, 4:30-6, before the game. Thank you, Twyla Plummer! They also have offered to help during the end of their practices through the week between 2/9-2/13. Sasha with Fusion Fitness has choreographed this dance and is willing to teach anyone who would like to learn it when she is at Taft 7-12 on 2/7 or 2/14. We will post a link to a video of Sasha and her Little Zumba Stars dancing to Roar. Sasha graciously choreographed this dance for a Team Sassy Event in Winston-Salem, NC and we are excited to bring that energy to the Taft 7-12 Community.

This is going to be fun. It already feels uplifting with the amount of support we have received and isn't it better to feel part of something bigger than yourself, than to feel alone? Come be a part of this community project!
