About The Event
It is our right to be in a public place, where we want and when we want. As a Pre-One Billion Rising event, a group of women set out on a Taboo Trail to reclaim the chai shop, the kebab corner, the local bar and the pan dabba among many other things. These spaces are male dominated and women are looked at as unwelcome. Join us as we start our walk on February 9th, 2014 from the Red Rose Cafe, Punjagutta to not just reclaim these spaces but have some uninhibited fun!

Hyderabad For Feminism
Hyderabad for feminism is an informal group for feminists and friends and supporters of feminists in the city. The idea behind this group is to create a community of friends and like minded people to support each other ( in crisis or happiness) , discuss ideas, involve in creative (or non-creative) activities.
