About The Event
Join us to help women and children in the Lower Mainland. We will be creating care packages filled with life's necessities for local shelters, families in low income housing and extreme weather shelters. This is a great opportunity to work together with our neighbours from many cultures and faiths and learn about missing and murdered Indigenous women. As part of the One Billion Rising campaign to end violence against women, and the UN World Interfaith Harmony Week to work together for the common good of all, we can help these families on their journey through life's challenging times and discuss how we can be part of the solution to address missing and murdered Indigenous women in our country.
