About The Event
She knows Her Power is a Holiday Camp of Joy, Play, and Connection. It is a four-day overnight camp where girls Meet other girls, have fun, get creative, and exercise their voices. The camp is structured around four significant deals: Authentic Communication, Courageous Growth, Equity, and Play. The camp lessons will provide a unique counterbalance in helping girls to grow into confident young women who are energized about the future!
The event will involve Zumba dance and reciting poems of their own truths about their bodies.
About The Organization
Wounded Healers International
We are a community of survivors of sexual Violence, Mentors & advocates who are passionate to see the end of sexual violence.
We do this by innovating systems, programs, and sustainable structures that improve the safety of children and empower the community to strengthen favorable social norms that prevent violence against women and girls.
Our main goal is to prevent the cycles of sexual violence among children and support survivors and victims, mostly girls. This support may include trauma healing services, shelter, medical, and partnering with other legal organizations to fight for justice.
