About The Organization

Shibaranjani

Shibaranjani is an Indian classical dance organization founded in 1984 by Guru Dipanwita Roy, an eminent Odissi exponent and a disciple of the great Guru Padmavibhushan Kelucharan Mohapatra. Based in India & USA, Shibaranjani promotes the diverse cultural heritage of India through various events, including performances, lecture-demonstrations and workshops.

Under Project SHAKTI, which in Sankrit means “strength,” Shibaranjani also encourages talented disabled and underprivileged students by supporting their dance education, nutrition, healthcare and general well-being, and providing them prestigious platforms to showcase their talents.
