Jasmine is a Yoga and Meditation Instructor with 20 years of experience, teaching various forms of yoga, meditation, and Reiki to students. She is devoted to the divine spark in all of life and finds a special interest in working with women, children, and people living with chronic pain, and/or mental health challenges.
Tanja is a nonprofit manager with experience coordinating event for family service programs, serving economically disadvantaged students, and helping families in need find resources for help and healing.
Maray is a licensed & certified Nia White Belt instructor who specializes in developing Nia programs and classes for girls. She has observed that through Nia movement, girls learn to love & respect their own bodies, make healthy decisions and feel connected to other girls in a non-competitive environment.
Diamond is an Elementary Art & Music Teacher by day, performance poet and aspiring author by night. She is a Director and founding member of San Antonio’s first and only youth poetry slam, Fresh Ink; a community organization whose objective is to promote the literary arts to the youth of San Antonio while providing a forum for them to utilize their voice in a safe and creative space, and has dedicated much of her spare time over the last 5 years volunteering with local poetry groups.
Jasmine and Tanja have participated in and assisted with One Billion Rising, Women's Day, and other community events in South Texas. All four women have a passion for art and activism, and hope to bring together an amazing group to rally to put an end to violence against women and children.
