About The Event
8000-10000 people from Gujarat are expected to march from Victoria garden to sardar Bagh, with placards, flags, banners. There will be 4-5 camel carts with 1. children performing on the One Billion Rising song, 2. Youth from Lokayat singing movement songs, 3. Siddhi Goma Tribal Dancers singing on their traditional drum beats, 4. Lawyers talking about the laws that exist in the country to protect women rights and how to use them.
We are expecting students from over 20 colleges and institutions, women from various colonies, many organisations, NGOs, activists to take part in the rally.
Over 10,000 leaflets have been printed and are being distributed in the city. Posters will be on the walls within the next few days.
