About The Event
OBR Japan will take to the streets of Tokyo on September 25th.
We will gather at the public square in front of the west exit of Ikebukuro station which is one of the main station in Tokyo metropolitan area.
Our gathering will be held in solidarity with Friends of RAWA (Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan),Japan
Participants are expected to gather dressed in red. Red comes after the red tulip which is the national flower of Afghanistan.
We will have some speakers to speak out for Afghan women with performances of dancing by Mika Okada and our OBR- Japan members.
About The Organization
I am a Director of Public and Media Relations at NPO Blue Sky (Children-Human rights-Nonviolence)and
CAP(Child Assault Prevention)facilitator.
Since 2013 I have produced "Break the chain" dance event at Toshima ward in Tokyo and have held it every year.
In April 2020, I launched voluntary group Aoisora OBR and became the representative in order to focus on OBR activities. OBR Aoisora stands for OBR-Japan.
