About The Event
Bring your honey, your valentine, or your acting partner (we won't know the difference!) to mack on all day at Superfun! and the Curia lawn. We're normalizing affection and destigmatizing PDAs, while celebrating all types of relationships. Stop by between noon and 6pm on Feb. 10 and 11.
We'll also have a splatter paint wall and collaborative canvas for any sort of catharsis or heart-drawing you want to do. Work through your heartache or just put your love's name in hearts.
A collection of love- and empowerment-themed artwork will be on display in the Superfun! gallery.
Throughout the day, pop-up events will take place within Superfun! and on the Curia complex lawn. These will include storymapping exercises, glitter-jar making, and movement- and collage-based workshops, as well as the "Break the Chain" flash mob. This event is part of Red Soul Days, a semi-annual applied arts project aimed at demystifying and supporting recovery from gender-based violence and intimate partner abuse. Red Soul Days is produced by CerridwenWorks, a new production agency for applied art and cultural education. The agency links educators with artists to produce socially engaging films, plays, art shows, performing arts productions, and workshops.
