About The Event
This campaign was conducted keeping in mind a very recent rape incident that took place in Khildderpore, which is not very far from the Apne Aap Women Worldwide centre in Calcutta. Th event was held with the children who stay in the nearby Red Light Area of Munshiganj . The children were taught about their right to not withstand any form of violence on themselves and neither should they be violent towards anybody. They were also informed about 'Good touch and Bad touch' by showing them different pictorial diagrams. At the end their faces were painted and they were made to understand this complex issue in a fun manner. We at Apne Aap are helping these vulnerable children #Rise4Justice and we hope to provide them with a secure future.
