About The Event

It being Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's Birthday on the 23rd of January, the children and staff members at Apne Aap Women Worldwide, Kolkata, celebrated it with lots of fun and frolic, on the terrace of our centre. The celebrations began with the children putting a garland on a picture of Netaji and performing a group dance on "Des Rangila". The children were then enlightened with facts about various Indian freedom fighters and in particular Subhash Chandra Bose. They were also told about the important place Netaji held in giving India its independence. More patriotic songs were sung and played by all making it a fun and informative event for the children. #Rising4Justice #Fun #dance #patriotism
