About The Event

Hey pals! Valentine's Day is also V DAY, which is a movement to end violence against women and girls. IF EVER THERE WAS A TIME TO ADVOCATE FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS - IT IS NOW. We are going to make pussy costumes to wear to various events (starting with the winter light festival on Feb 14!). Ideally we will have the opportunity to show up at protests in a bunch of pussy costumes en masse, but you are also welcome to come and make a costume even if you only ever wear it for halloween. Provided: Materials (fabric of various shades and stuffing) Lighting (string of pink twinkly lights included with your materials) Access to sewing machines/glue guns Nominal know-how/help with construction (we are no experts, but we'll figure it out together!) Snacks Feel free to suppliment with your own supplies and bling! You will want to make your pussy your own! A group of us will be going to the Winter Light Festival in costume the evening of Feb 14th should you care to join us. All genders welcome! NOTE: Funds collected will go to purchasing supplies and snacks. Any extra funds collected will go to supporting a project that funds women in Iran teaching other women how to teach (ask me more about this if you want the specifics).
