About The Event
Following on from the exhilarating success of last year's event, Perth Risers are preparing to gather in the city once more!
We will again gather in a central location to experience: passionate and respected speakers, dance workshops, information booths, food (feel free to bring a plate : preferably veggie-friendly as a sign of our commitment to compassion) and then will be taking to the streets for FLASH MOBBING!
This time, we plan to rise on the Saturday rather than the Friday: there are several reasons for this, the fact that it's Festival time in Perth is a considerable one.
In the lead-up to the event, we will host fun classes for anyone interested in learning the dance.
Our committee member, Jule Chiari, is producing a stage-play named "I am an emotional creature" by Eve Ensler, featuring seven young, talented, and committed young actresses.
