About The Event
Geri Cahill-Miller, the founder and director of Purple Lotus Project, will talk about her pioneering efforts to provide education, transition and safety resources to men, women, teens, children and animals affected by domestic violence and abuse. Based in Lorain County and the only organization of its kind of Ohio, Purple Lotus works to provide information, resources, and emergency fostering for situations where household animals are used as a source of threat by the abuser to keep the victims silent.
Event co-sponsored by Otterbein Animal Coalition.
