About The Event

Calling all survivors of gender violence and those who support their healing to stand for justice and join our global movement. We will gather in a Sacred Sharing Circle from 6-7 pm, where we will create a safe and healing circle for those who wish to share their stories. Immediately following, we will gather to dance, drum and sing to raise the energy for release and healing from 7 to 9 pm. Come join together, take a stand and see what is possible when One Billion bodies rise and dance on 14 February 2014.

About The Organization

Hosted by Unity in the Rockies, Red Mountain Drums and Dances of Universal Peace

Unity in the Rockies: Unity in the Rockies is affiliated with a worldwide movement committed to helping people by providing tools and teachings that support a progressive, holistic and practical spiritual life. The Unity movement was founded in 1889 by Myrtle and Charles Fillmore as a healing ministry. For more information: [email protected]
Dances of Universal Peace: From the beginning of time sacred movement, song and story have brought people together-at ties of seasonal ceremony and celebration, as part of everyday life and life passages, and in daily renewal and meditation. The Dances of Universal Peace are part of this timeless tradition of Sacred Dance. The movements are simple, easy to learn and can bring calmness, connection and joy into our everyday lives.
Red Mountain Drums: Red Mountain Drums Host Mother Drum Circle for both woman and men on Equinox and Solstices. And, additionally, four times a year for women only. We gather to drum with intention, not just for our personal healing, but also for the healing and well-being of all living things. We unite in one common rhythm and create a model by which to live. We embrace our diversity and uniqueness and yet are able to celebrate, sing, dance and delight in our togetherness. It is purposeful and sacred indeed.
