About The Event
"When One Billion bodies rise and dance on 14 February 2014, we will join in solidarity, purpose and energy and shake the world into a new consciousness.”
~ One Billion Rising
Magic happens when women gather together to dance for a cause.
Join us for this magical evening. We will incorporate 5Rhythms Dance, live music, and inspirational words to lead us as we speak, release and acknowledge the truth within our own hearts. As we recognize and embody our own beauty, strength, and truth, we live these qualities in the world.
The evening will feature:
~5Rhythms Dance by Stacey Butcher (www.StaceyButcher.com)
~Readings by Julie Daley (www.unabashedlyfemale.com)
~Live music by Lakshmi Devi (www.lakshmidevi.com)
The event is free and for women 16 years and older.
Donations gratefully accepted in advance to cover the costs of the event. Donations that exceed costs will go to local organizations that help women in need.
We are not taking reservations. Once we reach the room capacity limit, we will have to turn people away. So if you want to take part, be sure to arrive a little early.
