Movers, drummers, community, JOIN US in our Rising this V-Day 2015 to Rise up against the violence that is so prevalent against women and girls!!
PLAN OF ACTION:
We will meet in Kit Carson/ Red Willow Park to dance "Break the Chain" at 2 pm. In the spirit of a moving dance-rising/flashmob, we will then march together in a circuit of 5 destinations to each dance-Rising destination to dance "Break the Chain" in communal protest of violence against women and girls.
Together we will march, chant, and drum in between each destination, ending with a whole community Rising and free dance space and joyful celebration in the Taos Plaza.
DESTINATIONS IN ORDER OF OUR ARRIVAL:

Community Against Violence, Inc. (CAV) is devoted to fostering and supporting communities free from all forms of domestic and sexual violence. CAV is the only non-profit agency in Taos County exclusively addressing the needs of victims of domestic/sexual violence.
