THAT IS ONE BILLION WOMEN.
IN 2013, ONE BILLION WOMEN AND MEN SHOOK THE EARTH THROUGH DANCE TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS.
THIS YEAR, ON 14 FEBRUARY 2014 WE ARE CALLING ON WOMEN AND MEN EVERYWHERE TO HARNESS THEIR POWER AND IMAGINATION TO RISE FOR JUSTICE.

At Highfield campus on the Redbrick from 18.00 Southampton will come together as part of the 207 countries of the world celebrating.
Bring your dancing shoes, your stories, your banners or just your will for equality. Everyone is welcome to stand together and make change happen.
Partners, friends, housemates, colleagues, children, siblings – everyone is welcome as we make a stand as a city.

University of Southampton Students' Union
SUSU is the students’ union at the University of Southampton. It is run by students to enrich the lives of everyone who studies at the University.
Each of the 23,000 students enrolled at the University of Southampton is a member of SUSU. SUSU represents their voice and interests on issues at local, national and international levels and supports them in taking action to realise their ambitions and improve their lives.
