About The Event

One Billion Rising Revolution campaign was organized by Macedonian Association of Development and Integration - MADI for the second time in Skopje , Macedonia. The event took place at the plateau of the City Mall, where 30 high school students, strong supporters of the fight against violence against women and girls, performed the dance "Break the chain". The student's dance was followed by the official video of the song which attract the interest of many people passing by the place. The event had great media coverage , which is a great opportunity to call for action and demand zero tolerance of the violence against women and girls.

Macedonian Association of Development and Integration - MADI

4. Women, peace and security – focus on increased participation of women in the peace-building processes and security strategies for women human rights defenders;
5. Reproductive health and rights – promoting the right-based approach through the concept of sexual and reproductive health and rights, providing activities for enhancement of women’s reproductive well being.
