About The Event
We will gather just for the sake of being together to support women and help fight gender violence in the streets of San José. Artists and anyone who wishes to join are called upon to perform any and all kinds of forms of art; dance, sing, play the drums, show your talent to the world and just be yourself standing there with us to take over the public space that is San José downtown on the evening of Valentine's Day.

I have lived amidst abuse and violence my entire life.
In 2014, let's dance our souls away to empower victims of abuse around the world. Moreover, let's take public spaces back to Costa Rican women's power and inspire hope, awareness and strength in others via the means of art and liberal expression.
