We are a grassroots movement of diverse, yet like-minded members of our community who believe that, by raising our voices together, we will be able to erase the statistic that one in three women and girls will be raped &/or beaten in her lifetime. That fact itself is a call to action! It is not supposed to make us complacent believing that there is nothing that we can do about it. South Florida has strong resources and we should make that known far and wide; cutting-edge professionals and dedicated volunteers----making a difference is within our reach. We educate and empower ourselves, city, public and private policy makers so that current and future generations can make history together, by making the violence history!
