About The Event

Aloha! It is with great pleasure and passion that the YWCA of Kaua'i will host an event on February 14th to join the global movement for One Billion Rising- Revolution. This year we will be at Kapaa Beach Park on Saturday, February 14th from 11a-5p and we are inviting everyone to join us! There are a multitude of agencies, individuals, community organizations and supporters that come together on a daily basis here on Kaua'i to help women and families that are experiencing violence and abuse. We want to take February 14th to celebrate this fact, to invite all the creative community members who are supporting women and children in ways that expand their creativity, give them hope and help them find their own empowerment. We know many of you are out there every day doing this work and we want you to come and show the island what you are passionate about and how you are supporting this cause in your way! Help us spread the Aloha, Kaua'i, and join the revolution of One Billion people around the globe who are putting an end to violence! Music, movement, meditation, DRUM, DANCE, RISE! This is a drug and alcohol free event. Free and family friendly. Bring da Keiki!
