About The Event
On January 31, join the One Billion Rising Revolution from 11 a.m. – noon in the Roaden University Center main lobby. TTU community members will come together, rise up and stand in solidarity against sexual assault and violence against women. We will express our outrage, celebrate our strength and show our commitment to change. There will be activities, music, and giveaways. Stand with us at TTU’s fifth Rising as we join activists worldwide in this effort.
About The Organization
TTU Women's Center
Tennessee Tech's Women's Center exists to empower women at the university and in the surrounding community. The overall mission of the Center is to provide leadership, support, and services to facilitate education related to the issues of feminism, women, and gender. The Center serves women of diverse backgrounds and is committed to being a multicultural program that sustains and integrates different perspectives and sensibilities.
