About The Event
Please come and show your support for One Billion Rising for Justice, at the Newcastle Foreshore Amphitheatre, on the 14th of February from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Join us for a dance party, followed by a night picnic and be a part of the international movement to end violence against women. One in three women around the planet, will be raped or beaten in her lifetime. Let us join together to be a part of the demand for change, both in Australia and globally.
This will be a family friendly event, with all supportive members of the community welcome to join in. Please bring your own picnic basket, blanket or chairs, water to keep you hydrated whilst you dance and family, friends and colleagues to make the Newcastle event as memorable as possible.

The Newcastle Foreshore Amphitheatre is located in the park near the Wharf Road and Nobbys Road roundabout.
