A call to the Women! Mothers,daughters grandmothers and sisters!
A call to the MEN! Fathers, Grandfathers, sons and brothers!
A call to the musicians, the dancers, the artists!
A call to the teachers, builders and CEO's
A call to the community leaders!
A call to the pastors, ministers, and clergy people of ALL Faiths!
A call to People of ALL color and creed!
Let us join together in solidarity and RISE.
Let us build bridges with Dance and song!
Let us Rise for the healing of our Women and Girls that birth and raise the next generations!
This Febuary 14th we will converge in Downtown Nashville and join thousands of others across the globe who are Rising to end violence against women.
We are Rising for peace. We are Rising though connection .We are Rising in Unity.
In the short time we have together, we will gather peacefully at Legislative Plaza respecting all walks of life.
We will have some amazing spoken word poets from Southern Word share some poetry.
We will hear from a couple of community leaders sharing some inspirational calls to action!
We will have Music, and a guided unified dance!
Our message to all people is the message of Love.
Bringing hearts and hands together we stand strong!
We Rise to bring awareness to what is wounded in our world
and to remember that we are One global Family learning to respect our bodies, to respect one another and our earth.
We dance for the protection, empowerment and well being of the current and future generations of Women, and all humankind.
We will share, we will overcome, we will dance,
