The Youth Council of the City of Mostar is a non-governmental organization founded in 2010 at the initiative of the City of Mostar. The Youth Council of the City of Mostar consists of non-governmental youth organizations, each of which has its own representative. It is a main organization for youth that is closest to the City of Mostar, which has its representatives in the Youth Commission. She deals with youth policy and her main goal is to raise the lives of young people to a higher level in accordance with the FBiH Youth Law.
The Youth Council of the City of Mostar functions through the Assembly, the Collegium and the Supervisory Board. The Assembly, which is the highest governing body, consists of representatives of non-governmental organizations: "OKC Abrašević," ELSA Mostar, AEISEC Mostar, IAESTE, "Student Assembly of the University of Mostar", "Union of Students of the University Džemal Bijedić," Student Council ", Sensus- Center for Psychological support and the Sports Federation of the City of Mostar. " The Youth Council is an organization open for cooperation with all young people and youth organizations in Mostar. As such, also individuals who are not members of any organization and who as such are external associates of the Youth Council are also active in the youth projects.
