One Billion Rising Melbourne is a collective of representatives across the women's services sector and volunteers passionate about creating a movement for change - to change community attitudes towards the violence and exploitation experienced by the women in our wider community - and as a consequence - to help effect change in policy and practices.
Tamar Spatz, along with her incredible One Billion Rising Melbourne co-organisers, helped bring over 2000 people to the heart of Melbourne - Fed Square - in February 2013 - dancing our protest against violence and exploitation experienced by women and girls daily.
