About The Event
One Billion Rising Melbourne brought over 2,000 people to Melbourne’s Fed Square in 2013 – dancing to a universal rhythm – calling on the community to rise up and say NO to the violence & exploitation experienced by 1 in 3 women around the world.
In 2014 we will dance for Justice – we are bringing the community together to say ENOUGH – it has to change – women deserve better outcomes – they deserve to feel safe and empowered.
Our message has been embraced by Australia’s leaders across the community, political and entertainment sectors – they too support our efforts to remove the barriers to justice experienced by women all over Australia and indeed the world.
Join us for an inspired evening of dance, performance and community empowerment!
