One Billion Rising is a global/world-wide movement through the expression of dance to stop violence. Please join us to RISE, DANCE, and DEMAND an end to violence against women and girls. Join us for KCC's One Billion Rising event on:

The dance is really fun and easy so even if you don't have time for a practice session, just come out and JOIN THE MOVEMENT!
Please inform your students, colleagues, friends, and loved ones and invite them to this event. Community members are welcomed.

Kapiolani Community College Violence Prevention Task Force (VPTF)
Kapi`olani’s Community College’s (KapCC) Violence Prevention Task Force (VPTF) was created in the Fall of 2007. The taskforce is a college-wide effort, collaboratively striving to create a safer, more informed campus community. Their primary mission is to provide sexual violence awareness and prevention education and services to all students. The taskforce also carries out the prevention education requirements established in the UH System’s Executive Policy 1.204 - Policy & Procedural Guidelines on Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence & Stalking.
