About The Event
We will be tabling at the University of Wyoming Union from 8am to 4pm to raise awareness of violence against women and to promote healthy relationships amongst UW students and Laramie community members.
At noon, we will host a freeze mob at the Union, drawing attention to our mission in a creative, fun way.
From 4:15 to 6:15pm, we will host a panel discussion on domestic violence with representatives from the greater Wyoming community. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
About The Organization
Associated Master's of Social Work Students of Wyoming (AMSW2)
The purpose of AMSW2 is to unite the student body and faculty in the Master's of Social Work program at the University of Wyoming and to further students as professionals.
The objective of AMSW2 is to meet its stated purpose through group meetings, study groups, social activities, in-services, community connections/projects, committee work, and offering feedback to the social work faculty in order to enhance the MSW program.
