About The Event
Join us for three FREE one-half hour classes to learn the dance steps to "Break the Chain" on Tuesday, February 11, Wednesday, February 12, and Thursday, February 13 from 11:30am-12:00 Noon so we can dance together for justice on February 14. Call (907) 723-6612 for more information.
Then join us again this year at the State Office Building Atrium on February 14, 2014 from 12:00 Noon-1:00 pm as we collectively RAISE our voices, MOVE our bodies , RISE to end violence against women, and IMAGINE living in a more joyful and peaceful world! There will be music from the Juneau Pride Chorus, performance and drumming/dancing from the Yees Ku Oo Dancers of Juneau, dancing to "Break the Chain", spoken word performance, inspiring speakers, and lots of dancing. Local organizations will be there to share their resources.
UAS will also be holding a One Billion Rising for Justice event on February 14 from 2:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m. and dancing to "Break the Chain"!

Mountainside Wellness is located at 418 Harris Street on the 4th floor of the Arcticorp Building (The Charter School is on the bottom floor, and Dr. Kane and Dr. Cox are on the 3rd floor). The Arcticorp Building is on the block between the Cathedral and Holy Trinity. There are many entrances to the building. One inside and one outside staircase lead to the 4th floor. Day-time parking is available at the downtown garage and on the street.
