About The Event
On Valentine’s Day, Asian Women at Work Inc will join the global ONE BILLION RISING mass action to end violence against women. The event will take place at the Bankstown Train Station South Terrace Forecourt on 14 February, 11 am.
This year, Asian Women at Work Inc will dance to highlight 10 days paid domestic violence leave, a very important campaign as we work towards elimination of violence against women. We also highlight the need for respect for the rights and dignity of older women in the community.

Asian Women at Work Inc assists, resources and empowers migrant women workers in low-paid employment so they can stand up, speak out, take collective action and advocate for their rights, improve their lives and play a positive role in their communities. Asian Women at Work Inc has a current membership of over 2000 migrant women workers all over Sydney.
