Join us to RISE! DISRUPT! CONNECT! Students, staff and faculty will be in Shasta College’s Main Campus Quad on Tuesday, February 14th, 2017 at 11AM rising together with the "Break the Chain" flashmob dance! The event will also feature an acro yoga demonstration!! February 14th is ONE BILLION RISING: REVOLUTION- an energy, a platform, a global movement, a catalyst, a worldwide decision to end violence against women, a demand for justice, a paradigm shift, an invitation, a gathering of the ready, housed everywhere, housed in our hearts, you, us, REVOLUTION.
About The Organization
Shasta CARES
Shasta CARES works side by side with the Shasta College Community to provide advocacy, support, and education to reduce sexual assault, domestic and dating violence,and stalking. Together we will work toward a safe and healthy community. Shasta CARES is a collaboration among Shasta College Campus Safety, Student Services, One SAFE Place, and Redding Police Department.
