About The Event
We will be dancing, infiltrating buildings and outside areas (weather permitting) to dance together and rise against violence against women. We will be doing improvisational scores involving tableaus, flash mob-style dancing, and frozen "sculpture gardens" of people (like a time lapse). We will be giving out informational flyers to spread awareness. And we will be wearing supremely awesome t-shirts to look and feel united.
About The Organization
Purdue Contemporary Dance Company
PCDC is Purdue's resident modern dance company. They perform original works by Purdue's faculty and student choreographers and hold a concert at the end of each semester. Students come from all different backgrounds and experience levels of dance and are taught to explore and create original works through a collaborative process.
