About The Event
Event is 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. We have rocked the plaza for 7 years straight to make a statement that we will not tolerate violence, harassment, or discrimination against women and children in our community and around the world. We are keeping the momentum going and we will Rise! in Solidarity through dance at 2:14 p.m.
Community non-profit organizations will be on the plaza with information from 1:00 - 3:00.
We ask participants to please wear red, pink, or purple shirts.
You don't have to know the dance to participate, just show up and move to the music :)
About The Organization
VDay Humboldt
V-Day Humboldt is a local grassroots group of activists dedicating our time and energy to raise awareness and funds for local support groups for women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence.
