About The Event
Please join the Claremont College community as we rise and dance to express joy and community, celebrating and acknowledging the One Billion Rising revolution. One Billion Rising is the biggest mass action to end violence against women in human history. This February 14th, people across the world will come together to express their outrage, strike, dance, and RISE in defiance of the injustices women suffer, demanding an end to violence against women. The Claremont College students, staff, parents and faculty are invited to participate in this global campaign within our own community One Billion Rising salute.
About The Organization
Women & Leadership Alliance
The Women and Leadership Alliance is a joint endeavor to support and promote student programs at the Claremont Colleges that will highlight issues faced by women in leadership in business, government and the professions.
