About The Event
The University of the Philippines Diliman through the UPD Gender Office and Gabriela-Youth UP Diliman as primary conveners will organize a program in celebration of the One Billion Rising 2016: Escalating Revolution. It is also a kick-off event in celebration of March as Women's Month.
There event will be conducted on February 12 and will start with a march at the academic oval (3pm). The route of the march will be from the College of Music - Vinzons Hall - Benton Hall - Palma Hall and will commence at Quezon Hall, where a program will be held.
Colleges, units, offices and student organizations will also participate in the said event.

UPDGO is a unit under the Office of the Chancellor of the University of the Philippines Diliman mandated to promote gender rights as human rights and strengthen gender mainstreaming in the campus in order to realize a campus that is safe, nurturing and free from gender-based violence
