About The Event
ONE BILLION RISING is a worldwide initiative. People in more than 200 countries meet on this day on the street to dance. Thereby we want to protest against violence towards women and girls and show solidarity and happiness. All ages, gender and cultural background are welcome. No costs and a lot of fun guaranteed. Non dancing people also very welcome.
This year the Heart Core Choir will kick of the dance flashmob with a singing performance at 17:45 inside the Minto shopping mall.
Afterwards we will be dancing at 18:00 at Sonnenhausplatz directly on the other side of the street.
