One Billion Rising of Northeast Alabama is an organizational group for Risings held all across Northeast Alabama and is monitored and published by domestic violence and sexual violence advocates. Jacksonville State University (JSU) is a local university that has several student groups rising and demanding an end to violence and seeking justice for our victims and survivors while educating fellow students, faculty, staff, and other community members.

Trace is an advocate for sexual assault survivors at 2nd Chance, Inc. Sean is a Outreach and Prevention worker with 2nd Chance, Inc. Both Sean and Trace are finishing their MSWs at the University of New England and have over 20 years of combined experience in this field.
