About The Event
Last year over 2100 people came together in Harpa Music Hall on February 14th to rise up against violence against women and dance in unity for a better world.
Needless to say the energy in the room was electric. This year we are going to do even better. Our mission this year is to get at least 3000 people together on this important day.
About The Organization
The Icelandic National Committee of UN Women
The Icelandic National Committee for UN Women is a non-governmental organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. We support the mission of UN Women, the United Nations agency for gender equality and women’s rights. The NCI’s main role includes fundraising, raising awareness and advocacy.
